This update crushes the old version. Love the vectoring and the neon like colors are great. Killer aesthetics = check! I have been working on something new since opening this new update and whoa, killing it! The synth in this app is not to be overlooked. Im well on my way to a banger. Some criticisms... Im not sure about the sequencer. When it comes to the arrangement, things get awkward and Im not quite sure but it seems the app will be geared toward requiring the use of FLs desktop program. Im a Mac user, will the full Mac version ever see release? Lastly there is NO SIDECHAIN Please please please please give this app a compressor with sidechain input. The real deal, please! BUY THIS APP MAKE YOUR NEXT BANGER

I still love using this app, after seeing Deadmau5 ((Deadmouse)) and a few other great artists Ive deiced I wanted to try do beats and such. And after doing little searching Ive stumbled upon FL studio, expensive as heck to get all upgrades and such but totally worth it ? And not to mention its a lot less buggy then back then, different looking but still amazing!

I spent a few hours trying to get to know this app and gave up. The workflow is the least user friendly of any DAW app out there, its just a joke. I really hate it. But I will admit one thing- it DOES look great lol

Ill let you judge as to why: The app developer misrepresented the app by listing features it does not have even as of this writing. (Interapp audio for instance is still a fantasy). I have a screen cap of the features list -its there. It was just recently changed. Several glaring failures were in the release that should never have passed quality control (solo button function for instance). Sloppy activation and in-app purchase procedures and restoration. The app forces a recalibration of the audio latency every time you open a project and create an audio track. This requires the speaker to be active. If you happen to be using headphones you will be greeted with a high volume, ear splitting 10k tone. Latency is nearly 50ms on an iPad Air 2. I also pointed out that these errors in design are not because people arent using the help file as the developer implies. There are serious complaints here from experienced users. The is a review. This is to help others in their purchase decisions and to avoid them wasting their money. These are not how-to questions. In my opinion the proper response from a developer who fails this badly on quality control is to apologize and fix the issues as soon as possible. Lets see if this gets censored. Ill save a copy. 1st and for most, You can create custom 808s with mini synth ;) It has HUNDREDS of drum samples so you can always find a fresh kick or snare for your drums. I could go on and on. I use it daily.

there is certainly a big learning curve with this app. I had to watch many youtube tutorials. But it is still very awesome. Although there are a few bugs. For example, once I had a problem where an audio recording went blank. It hasnt happened again, but i dont want it to. So please fix the bugs and I will give 5 stars. FOR NEW PEOPLE: make sure to download an app called "audio copy" so you can export your songs to other apps.

This remodel is the quickest way to lose loyal customers. This is trash. Features removed and the UI is completely switched around. Bad move. I hope one of the CEOs sees this comment .

This used to be a great app. Everything was working perfectly fine. That is, until the most recent update. Now the app crashes every time I try to record something, and when it does it resets my progress since my last save. Deleting tracks is a pain, every time I make a new song I have to delete every single channel. Fix this, or at least give us a refund. This app has become a dissapointment.

Saw the bad reviews and thought maybe I should still give it to a chance. I was so wrong. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I wanted to import sounds and not use the terrible stock kit but cant. Cant even add samples or music files from my phone. The whole layout is a mess so I cant create anything with in it. Wish I could give this app negative stars for misleading me into spending $15. Really need a refund.

BE WARNED: (ver.3.1.36) This app falsely advertises features not available! They are selling you their infatuation with themselves and "maybe-some-days." I just spent four hours searching for how to use IAA and Audiobus, (because, ya know, Im just a lazy user who should use the help file) The only place IAA and AudioBus exists with this app is in the bogus feature list here in the App Store. I found nothing but excuses on the forum and angry users. I have a screen cap of the feature list given here. It is a lie. Got your headphones on when opening an audio track? You get your ears stabbed with a 10k fault Tone because the thing has to hear itself EVERY TIME to set the audio latency. This is NOT a DAW. A beta you pay for. Do they know how a solo switch is supposed to work? Artifacts and odd behaviors. Serial numbers, registrations, sloppy in app purchase procedures. Terrible when attempting to record live audio. No ability to monitor live input with FX without over taxing the CPU on a Air 2. Big mistake, Id like my money back. Get Auxy or Medly if you want a synth writing app. This is garbage. EDIT: Read the developers responses and you can see theres little chance of any real improvement to come. These are not "support" questions! These are largely complaints from experienced users. That the developer is so utterly clueless as to why these issues exist shows the incompetence we are dealing with. Its really very simple: IT SHOULD FUNCTION AT LEAST AS GOOD AS IT USED TO, NOT WORSE. Pretty colors may attract new users but it is perfume on poop. Want to reclaim your market share? Find a previous user and LISTEN TO THEM! PS YOU released it like this! That says just about everything we need to know. There are no reasonable excuses for selling an app with this kind of misrepresentation. Caveat emptor, buyers beware.

Straight as I opened it and loaded Gms vst its a demo ..so the couple things they give u its would hurt them to give us something nice considering we paid for it.why is a demo even on there.smh same with the boxed version.every vest is a demo.

I have used the software for 10 years going forward now, and this update has destroyed everything about the app that was useful and this is now the absolute worst software available now. Recording live audio sounds like a jack in the box jingle and trying to figure out the actual time of the song is impossible unless you have a stopwatch. Im not sure what you were thinking with the update, honestly.

This app was super before it updated. Thankfully, I have own the older version on my iPod 4 and I fell this tiny device can make super tracks than on my giant home PC. Now, I own iPad mini and download it. It provides the latest version. The UI is great. Friendly to use. However, I noticed that the sound quality distorted a lot. I did modify the sitting and now it reduced the sound distortion. And the app crashed a lot. I dont know if developers didnt test it on iPad mini. I feel my improved device with this app is like running its PC version on Intel pentium 2

This app used to be my favorite app. Id use it literally every day. Now after the update, I dont even open it. FLSM2 was great. It definitely needed some polish, but everything was usable. Now the interface is so clunky that its just not worth the effort. Its even a struggle just to change instruments. I even lost all of the instrument packs I had paid money for. The app wont let me restore previous purchases. There was a time when Id highly recommend this app, even at the $20 price point, but those days are long past. I only keep this installed in hopes that Ill see one of the updates fixed what used to be my favorite app.
